The National Christian College Athletic Association voted Thursday to add Calvary University as a member for the 2017-2018 season. “The NCCAA is a great fit for us,” said Athletic Director Jeanette Regier. “It is our desire to compete with excellence as we represent Jesus Christ in the athletic arena. We share this common purpose with the NCCAA and their member schools, and we are excited to team together with them to impact the world with the gospel using competition.”
The NCCAA is an association of Christ-centered collegiate institutions whose mission is to use athletic competition as an integral component of education, evangelism, and encouragement. Calvary University believes and desires to excel in that mission.
The Warriors will join the NCCAA in all four of their sports. Calvary will become one of 38 Division II members of the NCCAA and will participate in the North Region for the 2017-2018 school year. The North Region includes Faith Baptist Bible College, Maranatha Baptist University, Moody Bible Institute, North Central University, Oak Hills Christian College, Providence University College, Trinity Bible College, and Emmaus Bible College.
